Message from the Executive Director
It is with great pride that we present the happenings of the Plymouth Community Theatre to the greater Plymouth area. Now in its second year of operation, we have produced several fine performances staged right here in the center of town. Our range includes musicals, dramas, variety shows and even our first Shakespeare on the Rock production.
PCT has provided a venue for local actors and singers to participate in varied theatrical opportunities. We have been thrilled with the high number of thespians that have come forward to participate, and, we also have been impressed with the high level of talent they bring to us, resulting in top quality shows that have pleased our audiences.
Additionally, we have been blessed with the work of a series of very talented directors, stage managers and behind-the-scenes crew members. These unsung heroes are the lifeblood of the theater.
We are grateful to the town of Plymouth; to the many supporters that have attended our productions and have cheered us on; to the media for the fine reporting; and to those individuals and businesses that have made donations to help defray our expenses. This truly has been a town-wide project.
The work continues. We need more help. Please consider stepping on board and joining us in a future endeavor. Join our mailing list, stay tuned to the local newspapers for announcements on upcoming events, check our website frequently and take the risk to become involved. You will have the time of your life!

Our next production will be "Almost, Maine." Written by John Cariani and directed by Theresa Chaisson, this contemporary comedy is sure to be a fun-filled evening!
On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover
in the star-filled sky above, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of
love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost— in this delightful midwinter night's dream.
Show dates will be Feb 26-28 and Mar 5-7, 2010.
Thank you to everyone who turned out to auditions! You all made casting a very difficult choice indeed!!
